This apartment located in a late 19th century house, presents an interesting challenge: how to make a tiny studio more spacious with all functions being retained. The house turns from a former studio into a spacious two bedroom apartment with a kitchen corner and cloakroom. The first room has a public character underlined by an open space which includes a kitchen with a bar table and dining corner. The second room is the master bedroom with a cloakroom with a utility area. Both rooms can be connected and opened into one living space through large sliding doors. The color scheme for the unit is universally white for the walls, floors and ceilings. The design approach goes along with the character of the building and its future owners. It evokes the retro look in a modern concept.
